Our Story
Miami's First Tea Lounge
Since June 2009, specialTEA has been Miami-Dade's original tea lounge — the first of its kind. What started as a dream to bring premium loose leaf tea culture to Miami has grown into one of the city's most beloved specialty tea bars and community cafes.
We source over 60 varieties of premium loose leaf tea from gardens worldwide — Chinese green tea, Taiwanese oolong, Indian spiced chai, South African rooibos. All of our coffee is USDA organic, fair trade, and locally roasted. We also serve boba tea, frozen drinks, and vegan baked goods made fresh daily.
Nestled in the Columbia Shopping Plaza on Coral Way near FIU, we're your home away from home. Grab a board game, connect to our free WiFi, and settle into your favorite cozy corner with a cup of something special.
